Sales Executive
About This Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing freight brokerage team. This role is responsible for generating new shipper accounts, developing freight lanes, and driving revenue growth through strategic prospecting and relationship building.
The ideal candidate has experience in logistics or transportation sales and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Identify needs and provide competitive freight solutions
Negotiate rates and service agreements with customers
Collaborate with pricing team to ensure competitive targets and rates.
Monitor market trends, capacity conditions, and pricing fluctuations
Meet or exceed monthly revenue and margin targets
Maintain accurate pipeline activity and customer records in CRM
Manage customer expectations and resolve service-related issues
Requirements
1–3+ years of sales experience (freight brokerage preferred)
Experience selling FTL, LTL, drayage, or intermodal services
Excellent negotiation and closing skills
Proven ability to generate and grow a book of business
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented
